English Providers Partners

Students that successfully complete our English Entry requirement level with one of the English providers listed below will be granted direct entry to International College of Queensland courses.

An online English Test can be completed by prospective students. This assists us to determine if you meet the entry requirements. If you need to study English before beginning your vocational course with ICQ the listed English Schools can determine your English level and advise you on the number of weeks you will need to study to reach the English entry requirement.

University Pathways

ICQ has partnered with some of Australia’s top universities to offer pathways to bachelor’s degrees. After completing one of our Diploma courses, you may be eligible for direct entry into a university degree course in the same or similar program. This gives you the opportunity to fast-track your university study.

Our Diploma courses are designed to maximise the academic potential of each student. They have credit exemptions that are part of an agreed pathway to a bachelor’s degree. This means that you can transfer some of the credits you earn in your Diploma course to your bachelor’s degree, which can shorten the length of time you need to complete your degree.

On successful completion of one of our vocational courses, you are eligible to receive a nationally recognised Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) Award and/or Statement of Attainment. This means that the vocational qualification you receive at ICQ is nationally recognised by industry and by other training providers.

The following is a list of the pathways that currently exist between ICQ and Australian Universities:

James Cook University (JCU) is providing vocational pathways into JCU degrees from some Nationally accredited vocational courses and qualifications within discipline related Australian Training Packages. These pathways, known as AQF Vocational Qualification Credit Linkages apply for 1749 Cairns Beauty Academy Pty Ltd’s courses and qualifications.

Southern Cross University (SCU) is providing vocational pathways into SCU degrees from some nationally accredited vocational courses and qualifications within discipline related Australian Training Packages. These pathways, known as AQF Vocational Qualification Credit Linkages apply for 1749 Cairns Beauty Academy Pty Ltd’s courses and qualifications.

International College of Queensland has approved pathways arrangements with University of Southern Queensland recognising the learning completed within the relevant ICQ Diploma
qualification for entry into the first year of a related University of Southern Queensland Course.
