Over my past year of learning doing my Diploma of Beauty Therapy, I was not only able to up skill by beauty credentials, but got the chance to in depth learn the theory and knowledge of beauty therapy, gain real life reception skills and be apart of a very caring and rewarding customer client basis.
As a 15 year old who found school was never for me, I wasn’t treated like a child or that I was wrong for being there at such a young age.
Amanda (our training provider) and my older peers treated me with nothing but respect and kindness which is something I never would’ve had at school. I, now as a 16 year old, have a job working in a successful laser clinic on the road to performing advanced skin and laser treatments and am doing lashes and brows for some money on the side!
Please if you are thinking about demi and are curious about the pathway of a beauty therapist, look no farther then Demi as your first choice of education.

I’ve just completed my Certificate III in Hairdressing and I can’t recommend Demi International enough! From day one the environment was warm and welcoming and genuinely felt Like a second home. Our class had a diverse range of ages and backgrounds, yet we all became great friends, creating a really positive and supportive atmosphere.
A special mention has to go to our trainer Michelle. She is absolutely incredible! Always informative, patient, kind, helpful and so much fun to learn from. She was always on the salon floor with us, offering guidance, answering questions and assisting us with clients whenever we needed her. She was extremely thorough in every aspect of her teaching and genuinely wanted every student to succeed!
The entire team at Demi creates such a positive learning environment that I’ve decided to enrol in another course with them and I’m really excited to start studying Barbering next term.
If you’re thinking about studying hairdressing, I wholeheartedly recommend Demi International. The staff, culture and learning experience have exceeded all my expectations.

It was truly a positive learning environment; being able to connect and make a community while continuing education made it that much more enjoyable.
I’ve always had a huge passion for nails, and Demi really provided another pathway for me to continue my education, but in something I was actually interested in learning. Enrolling in my Cert 3 with Demi was very easy, and I was able to get started right away. It was a very welcoming experience from start to end.
Through my online class, I have met other people with the same interests and passions as myself. It was truly a positive learning environment; being able to connect and make a community while continuing education made it that much more enjoyable.
I had Nic as my instructor, and she is a great teacher; you can tell she knows all things nails from the first time you meet her. The class was always well organised and walked through.
10/10 would do again!

As a recent graduate of Demi international (Diploma of Beauty therapy) and as a 16 year old High Student in Year 11 2025. I can’t recommend the Maroochydore campus and Demi in general enough. From the moment I started, I felt supported and encouraged by the staff and by my fellow students, some of the best people I have ever meet and now friends for life. Being able to go to school 3 day a week and attend Demi for the other two day was amazing and to have a Diploma before I have even completed Year 12 is mind blowing
My trainer, Amanda was amazing for the start — patient, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to help me understand and grow to being my career as a 16 Year old and still in school. Her passion for teaching really showed, and it made such a difference to my confidence and learning experience.

Over the past year studying a Diploma of Beauty Therapy at Demi International in Maroochydore, I have had an incredibly rewarding and enriching experience. The course provided me with a great foundation of knowledge while placing a clear emphasis on practical, hands-on learning. This balance allowed me to build both confidence and competence in a real salon-style environment, preparing me for the beauty industry. The facilities, structure of the course, and supportive learning atmosphere all contributed to making my time at Demi International both enjoyable and professionally valuable.
A special mention must be given to my teacher, Donna, who played a significant role in shaping my learning experience. Donna is an exceptionally kind, caring, and dedicated educator. Her approach to teaching beauty therapy was engaging, patient, and highly practical, with a strong focus on hands-on experience. She consistently encouraged growth, confidence, and attention to detail, while creating a welcoming and supportive classroom environment. I truly appreciated her passion for the industry and her genuine commitment to her students’ success. I am very grateful for the guidance and encouragement I received throughout the year, and I leave this course feeling motivated, inspired, and well prepared for my future in beauty therapy.

I graduated Demi International with my diploma of beauty therapy in April this year.
I have been working in a salon ever since and am loving my career so far. Going to Demi International was the best decision I could have made for my education. The teachers were extremely knowledgeable and there was also lots of hands on experience. They taught me everything I needed to know to prepare me for the real world. Ann the principal gave me endless opportunities and helped set me up for a career in a highly sought after salon where I am furthering my education and look forward to continually developing my skills. There is no better choice for quality education and a friendly atmosphere than Demi International.

It had been well over 20 years since I last studied and the class’s and materials where just so easy to understand and the quality was just outstanding. Diploma of Screen and Media
Demi International Beauty Academy is a great school to study make up and beauty services.
The Diploma of Screen and Media is a great course as you learn so many interesting make up facts and learn how to perfect your make up whether it be glamour make up or special effects. It is also great that they get guest speakers come into the class to show you products or how to create make up looks.
The teachers are wonderful and are always there to help you along the way. Over the past year at school I have made some friends that I hope to have for life.
I would recommend Demi International to anyone willing to start their career in freelance make up or special effects.

Studying at Demi International Beauty Academy was one of the best things I ever did for myself.
I obtained a Diploma in Screen and Media in 2018 alongside some brilliant students and an amazing, informative and friendly teacher. Within 3 months I was already getting paid as a Makeup Artist working for myself and after 4 months I was hired as a HMUA for an award winning photographic studio.
Two weeks after competing my diploma I was selected as the Makeup Director for Aura Makeup Australia and will be taking charge of the Sunshine Coast Fashion Festival. I am thrilled with my outcome and I owe it all to Demi International!

I recently completed my Diploma in Screen and Media (Makeup) at Demi International on the Sunshine Coast Campus in Maroochydore.
This 12 month course has improved my skills so much. It wasn’t until I looked back of photos of my previous work and compared them to the end of the course to realise just how far I have come. Our teacher Stacey was so knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and patient.
The course covers every aspect of the makeup industry preparing you for the work force after course completion allowing you to decide on the direction you wish to take your makeup career.
Since completing my diploma I have taken part in some amazing fashion shows such as Sunshine Coast Fashion week and also started my own successful freelance business catering to weddings and events. Without my new learned skills and confidence none of this would have been possible.
I am so happy I chose to do this course; I’ve come out of it with so many news skills and also lots of new and supportive friendships. If you are looking at Studying makeup on the Sunshine Coast, look no further than Demi International!

I have always wanted a career in sports medicine I just didn’t know where to start.
Demi International helped me to get my foot in the door, by enrolling in the Certificate of Massage therapy that they offer. After falling in love with the concept I progressed and continued on to do the Diploma of Remedial Massage through Demi also. My teacher Seonaid Boyle was encouraging, supportive and always positive throughout my entire journey.
I am certain I wouldn’t have found something I love to do as much as Remedial Massage without her help and the Directors of Demi International.
If you are wanting to do something fun, active and rewarding I absolutely recommend this course, you will not be disappointed.

Studying a Diploma of specialised makeup services under the watchful eye of the instructors was not only a joy but a wonderfully creative process.
Exploring an extensive history of makeup and the science behind perfection was both challenging and incredibly rewarding. Working in a mature, professional environment gave a great sense of the responsibility and nature of the busy beauty industry. Within such a short period of time we learnt not only skills of makeup but made like-minded friends to last a lifetime.

I’m currently doing a Certificate III in Hairdressing and have just completed salon management diploma with Suzanne. Suzanne was such a good trainer, she’s supportive, attentive and clearly very knowledgeable. I was worried about going it alone online but with Suzanne as my trainer I felt like my class teacher was always there if I needed and she made everything so much easier. Thank you Suzanne ☺️
