How to Become a Certified Nail Technician

Have a passion for nails?

Want to start working towards a career doing something you love? Want to know how to become a certified nail technician? You can achieve your dream job in just three simple steps!

Step 1: Enrol in a Certificate III Nail Technology (SHB30315)

First, you will need to enrol in a nail technician course. You can begin your nail technician study at Demi International in the Certificate III Nail Technology SHB30315 and finish within six months. You can choose to do the course entirely online from the comfort of your own home. Alternatively, you can opt for blended delivery of online study and on-campus for 13 full practical days.

If you choose blended delivery, all the nail technician certification requirements, such as nail toolkits, are supplied to you and covered by your tuition cost! You will also receive kits for the online delivery but will have a few extra tools you need to purchase yourself. You can look at our course and read our brochure, which gives you all the information about our kits, study options, units and tuition fees.

For any Queensland residents, you may be eligible for the Certificate III Guarantee as well, which can help make training for your future career much more affordable. Paying your tuition fees can be set up in an easy payment plan throughout your course so that you can start now!

Step 2: Complete your Qualification

If you study with us, you will learn all things acrylic, gel, manicure and pedicure, nail art and the use of electric file equipment. You will also complete business and marketing units to help you with your future business and learn more about the industry. If you select to study face-to-face, you will also learn about spray tanning as one of the elective units in your course, or when you study with us online, you will learn more about marketing your new business!

Step 3: Work in your Dream Career!

After finishing your nail technology course, you can then work as a nail technician in a spa, nail salon, beauty salon, or as a freelance nail technician working from home. Our courses are nationally recognised in Australia and are also recognised as some of the best globally, allowing you to take your career overseas. The sky is your limit when it comes to what you want to do and where you want to work when you have a Certificate III Nail Technology Certification.
